This weekend I attended a Power of Moms Retreat up in Park City at the Eyre’s beautiful home. It was A-MAY-ZING to be able to spend from 9 to 5 with 92 other incredible women who also wanted to be the best mothers and home managers that they can be. The organizers weren’t kidding when they said that we were in for a feast!

I took seven pages worth of notes in my day planner. It took two days to even give my husband a brief synopsis in between taking care of our cute kiddos. I plan on breaking it down and blogging my favorite concepts, systems, and pieces of advice – so be on the lookout over the next few weeks!

I carpooled up to Park City with two other women from the Orem/Provo area. It was like getting in two bonus sessions of the retreat. I think there is great power in talking with other moms who are positive, yet also realistic about motherhood. That may be one of the biggest take away messages that I received at the retreat – that I am not alone and that there are other mothers experiencing the same thing I am.

The questions I am pondering individually and with my husband this week is:

What Do I Need to Thrive?

What Does Our Marriage Need to Thrive?

What Do Our Children Need to Thrive?

What do you think? What do you need to thrive? I would love to hear your thoughts!
