Always looking for new recipes. Especially mostly healthy, yummy recipes. And when they are mostly healthy, yummy recipes, that I can freeze AND that my kidlets love. Definitely a keeper!

I made a batch of Trainer Mom’s Whole Wheat Pancakes today and now I have a yummy ziploc full in my freezer. My nine month old and 2 year old gobbled theirs up as quickly as I gave them to them. And I topped mine just like her’s with a little bit of peanut butter and a lot of blackberries. Can we say, YUMMY! And very filling, too. I only had one square and I feel like I had a meal. Plus the smell of cinnamon wafting throughout my home … pure joy!

And because I know you’ll want to make them now … here is her recipe:

Whole Wheat Waffles

2 cups whole wheat flour

4 T canola oil

3 T sugar

½ tsp sea salt

3 tsp baking powder

3 eggs

2 cups skim milk

2 tsp cinnamon

Combine all ingredients and bake on a waffle iron (make sure you douse it with non stick cooking spray first!). Enjoy 🙂
