I’ve dabbled in blogging over the past year leaving behind a trail of family, savings, and recipe blogs. They have served their purposes by documenting our family life, keep tracking 0f my menus, and providing me with a sense of organization. However, in each blog, something was missing. It’s taken some time to figure out, but I’ve discovered the missing piece: ME! I write about my cute kiddos, the latest deal I’ve found, and what I’ll be attempting to cook for dinner, but, for the most part, my thoughts and feelings are missing.

This comes as a surprise to me. Is it possible to surprise yourself? I love to write and yet I have several blogs that are passionless, at least in my eyes. This new blog is an attempt at blogging rebirth. I’ve pondered possible topics where I could etch out my niche in the blogging world. What sticks in my mind is: Keep Moving Forward. You know, the great advice from Walt Disney and Meet the Robinsons?

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things – because we’re curious. And curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. Keep moving forward” – Walt Disney

And that is what I shall do. Keep moving forward. With a toddler and a baby quickly approaching toddlerdom, it may be at a snail’s pace in certain areas, but I do know that time will keep racing forward. This blog will track my journey as I move forward – onward and upward – eh? I’ll work on the organization and try for some semblance of coherence, but for now, it is what it is.

Join me on my journey! What areas are you moving forward on in your life?
