To wrap up the month of April (can’t believe it has gone by so fast!), my last goal of the month is centered on taking time to ponder and create peace. So much of life is on the go and a bit too rushed. I am looking for more peace in my own life and peace for my children and husband as well.

So how does one develop this in a week? How does one get peace since it is not something you can pick up at the grocery store and insert into your life? This week I am going to do my best to create a peaceful environment for my family where they can ponder and relax.

One of my favorite places to visit on a trip back to Boston was Walden Pond. This photo does not do it justice, but it gives you a general idea.:

We were the a pair in a small handful of people who were visiting that day since it was before the official touristing season began which added to the peace and quiet. We visited Henry David Thoreau’s tiny cabin where he lived on Walden Pond (forgive my six month pregnancy chubbiness : ).

All my inspirational quotes for the week come from Henry David Thoreau. I believe peace will come as I simplify and work in the direction of my dreams!

How vain it is to sit down to write when you have not stood up to live.

So there you have it! What can you do this week to take time out to ponder and bring peace to your life?
