It’s back! I always know when Salt lake Comic Con is in town because my social media feeds explode with friends and associates joining in the fun of dressing up as their favorite characters from cartoons, television shows and movies! Before last year I wouldn’t have considered myself your typical Comic Con fan. That changed when I started geeking out over the photobomb by John Scott Barrowman aka Captain Jack Harkness from Dr. Who and Torchwood in The Housewife Eclectic’s instagram post. When I saw that Castle aka Nathan Fillion had been in attendance, I knew I should have gone!

For those of you who attended Salt Lake City Comic Con in September 2014 and came away wanting even more, I’ve got great news! Salt Lake Comic Con Fan Xperience is back, with a smaller, high-quality event. Founders Dan Farr and Bryan Brandenburg announced a significantly lower amount of  tickets being allotted.   There will be only 50,000 tickets per day, as compared to the maximum crowd attendance of 120,000 people one day at Comic Con 2014. With this and other improvements, this year’s Salt Lake City FanXperience should be a much more enjoyable experience for fans. Be sure to enter to our giveaway for the valuable tickets!

There is something for everyone at SLC Fan X 2014 and it brings out the inner nerd in all of us!  It brings the whole family together, as the kids can dress up, attend KidCon and see other kids dressed up in their favorite characters.  Also, with one-of-a-kind vendors congregating at the event, you’ll be sure to find gifts and collectibles you could never find on Amazon.

The Comic Con Organization also gives back to the community.  They have worked to donate and work with 18 charities and public organizations including Boy Scouts of America, Firemen & Friends For Kids, Huntsman Cancer Institute, & Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital.  Also, in the near future, they will be partnering with the American Red Cross at the event itself.

This year’s star roster includes Carrie Fisher, Morena Baccarin, Felicia Day, Tom Felton, Brandon Routh, Christopher Lloyd, Alaina Huffman and many more!

We’re pleased to announce that 3 winners will be able to participate in the fun and excitement of Comic Con Fan Xperience 2015!  1st Prize – Two 3-day passes to Fan Xperience 2015!  2nd Prize – One 3-day pass to Fan Xperience  2015 and 3rd Prize – 2 Commemorative Collectible Pins from Fan Xperience 2015!  Enter the Rafflecopter Form below!  Good luck!

I got to go to all 3 days of Comic Con last year and it was amazing! I love walking around and seeing all the boothes and finding panels to go to.

I am a BIG fan of Salt Lake Comic Con! My husband and I were lucky enough to go to the very first SLC Comic Con event and this past September’s Comic Con, but we have yet to go to a FanX. Sounds like they have a great lineup!!

I got to go to Fan-X last year, and Salt Lake Comic Con in 2014, and my favorite part is meeting the celebs and seeing all the amazing cosplays. It’s always such a blast.

I’m still thinking about going to Salt Lake Comic Con this year (read: yes yes yes I’m going while fervently holding out hope for surprise appearances by Tom Hiddleston, Robert Downey, Jr., Catherine Tate, Alex Kingston, David Tennant, and everybody from Leverage to name a few). Given a choice I’d dress up as Donna Noble during the Pompeii episode (her character just really got into the costume change opportunities). Given the body I’d dress as Parker from Leverage and rappel into the building like she does. Favorite characters are the Tenth Doctor (sweet, deadly, charming, witty, crazy loveable David Tennant), Donna Noble (so fierce and sassy), Amy Pond, River Song, Captain Jack Harkness, Murdock from the A-Team, and every single person from Leverage, RIP.

I’ve gone to every comic con in Salt Lake City so far, and some of my most favorite memories are from hanging out with my friends while we wander the floors and meet cosplayers and guests. Last comic con, we ran a charity event with Make-A-Wish and arranged it so a young Wish Kid could get to meet John Barrowman after the con had closed but he had stayed to sign and meet maybe a hundred more fans’ who had waited hours to meet him. Nerds are the best! 🙂

Ok WHAT, is that Karate Kid I see?? That was my favorite movie growing up, I’d love to see Ralph Macchio in person. What a fun event this would be.

This is right up my husbands alley – he is a comic junkie! Salt Lake is a stretch from where we are though – Florida. I wonder if they will have one closer to home.

My son would love me forever if I won! 🙂
